ToolsTree is a local-first utility platform built by developers, for developers. We aim to solve everyday engineering pain points by providing a centralized hub of high-performance utilities that speed up your formatting, validation, conversion, and hashing tasks.

2. Our Philosophy: 100% Client-Side

Unlike traditional utility hubs that transmit your code, logs, and sensitive data structures to external servers, ToolsTree operates entirely in your local browser sandbox. We believe developers shouldn't have to compromise security for convenience. None of your inputs ever leave your device.

3. Technical Stack

ToolsTree is engineered using a modern, lightweight, and performance-focused technology stack:

  • Core Framework: Next.js 15 (App Router) and React 19 for seamless server-side rendering and client transitions.
  • Styling: Tailwind-free Vanilla CSS declarations utilizing theme design tokens (custom variables) for dark/light mode toggle persistence.
  • Type Safety & Validation: Built entirely with TypeScript for type-safety and Zod schema parsing to validate tool registration manifests.
  • Performance Utilities: Local Web Workers for heavy formatting/minifying jobs, WebAssembly integrations, and memory-safe lookup dictionaries.

4. Absolute Privacy & Open-Source Built

We do not store database values, keep request logs, or inject trackers. By running fully client-side, ToolsTree is inherently GDPR/CCPA compliant, zero-cookie, and immune to server-side breaches of your data.
